In Person Terrarium Workshop

🌿 Terrarium Workshop at the charming Garden House in Yelverton! 🌿

Unleash your inner gardener and create your very own enchanting terrarium at our immersive in-person workshop! Perfect for everyone, from beginners to seasoned plant enthusiasts, this hands-on experience will guide you through the magical process of crafting your own miniature ecosystem.

Important Information
If you are booking the Terrarium Course on Sunday, 29 March 2026, please bring your own glassware. To ensure the best experience, kindly make sure your glassware meets the following requirements:

- Made of clear glass

- Is clean and dry

- Has a minimum capacity of 3–5 litres

- Is at least 25 cm in height

- Has an opening large enough to allow planting by hand or with long tweezers (please note that demijohns are not suitable)

Your glassware may be open or closed (with a cork stopper or glass lid). If you’re unsure whether your vessel is suitable, please feel free to contact us —we’re happy to help.

What’s Included:

- Each participant will receive everything needed to create a stunning 3-plant medium sized glass terrarium, including:
            - A cork topped glass terrarium (only if attending 15th February or 8th March sessions)
            - A variety of high-quality planting substrates
            - A selection of vibrant plants and lush moss
            - Grit to top dress your terrarium

- Access to the use of all tools needed to complete your masterpiece

- Delicious Refreshments - enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and a slice of cake to keep your creativity flowing!

- FREE access to the stunning 10 acre gardens at The Garden House (normally £15!)

- Small Group Experience- to ensure personalised attention, we operate in small groups of Up to just 10 participants. Bring your friends, loved ones, or come solo and make new friends!

- You will leave with not only your beautiful terrarium but also all the knowledge and aftercare required to keep your terrarium going!

📍 Location: The Garden House, Buckland Monahorum, PL20 7LQ - there is ample parking on site. Please note there are a series of steps up to the workshop space and no lift on site (please contact us to discuss alternative options if required)
💷 Price: 15th February 2026 £60 per person, 8th March 2026 £60 per person, 29th March £50 per person 

Do you need to bring anything?:

- Although there is tea / coffee and cake - you may want to bring along a drink for during the workshop

- You may wish to bring an apron with you to protect your clothes from soil, water and mess

- If you want to keep your hands / nails clean from mess please bring along a pair of latex / nitrile gloves (avoid gardening gloves as they are too bulky - marigolds are perfect!)
